Devon Garland is an unpasteurised, firm and vegetarian cow’s milk cheese made in the North Devon region in England. A Caerphilly-style cheese. The natural rind is firm and smooth with a grey-brown crust. The name is derived from the garland of fresh herbs, spring onions added to the cheese just before maturation, giving it a blend of fresh aromas and tastes. After six to eight weeks of maturing, the resultant taste is clean, fresh, and savoury.
